Модуль latestproductsrssfeedv1.21: крякозябры в ленте

Установил модуль latestproductsrssfeedv1.21foropencart1.5.x, xml формируется, но вместо русского текста - крякозябры. В хэдэре кодировка - ЮТФ-8. Смена кодировки вручную не помогает.

В файле контроллера \catalog\controller\feed\latest_products_rss.php вроде прописана кодировка. Как то так:
