карусель bootsrap

вставил код карусели 

и если перейти в корзину магазина, то карусель все равно остается, а корзина отображается под ней. 

как исправить

либо расскажите как сделать стандартный слайд шоу в деф шаблоне на всю ширину

вот вписываю я bootstrap темы в хедр, втулил кнопку, вписал ссылку на корзину.

и когда нажимаю на корзину, она открывается внизу, между окончанием хедера и началом футера. 

как избавится от этого ? 

более подробно, для чайника

Я ошибся - мне показалось, что у вас проблема в том, что всплывающая корзина перекрывается каруселью. Пардон.

Дайте ссылку на свой сайт, разберемся что там у вас не так.

вставил значит я в футер шаблон с каруселью с бутстрапа.

и получается что в какой бы я раздел не переходил, с товаром, корзина, акции, мой профиль и т.п.

то сначала идет код с футера, а потом уже то, куда я переходил по ссылке.

Если вы код карусели вставили напрямую в файл шаблона (футер/хедер и т.п.), то конечно эта карусель будет на всех страницах.
Что бы выводить содержимое только на определенных страницах в opencart предусмотрен механизм "схем" (вот тут вроде понятно описано https://asterial.ru/saytostroenie/shemy-v-opencart-razlichnaya-struktura-sayta-dlya-otdelnyh-stranic ).
Для своих целей можете использовать модуль html-блоки (для 1.5.х - https://opencartforum.com/files/file/981-html-%D0%B1%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%BA/ , в 2.х он уже встроен).

так, покамись вроде понял. всунул слайдер в home.tpl, отображает только на глагне, как хотел)

тоесть если захочу вставить еще слайдер в корзине к примеру, то нужно будет вставлять код в cart.tpl

Нет. Код слайдера вставьте в модуль html-блок, а затем этот модуль выводите на нужной вам схеме.

ага разобрался. спасибо огромное.

но вот теперь след этап. если я код вставляю в хедр ну или в любой .tpl у меня слайдер на всю ширину шаблона, как и должен быть. а если через блок, по вашему совету, то по размерам стандартного слайдшоу

Ну, такова стандартная структура шаблона и модулей. Что бы её изменить и реализовать все ваши пожелания необходимы более глубокие познания в веб-разработке, которых у вас, очевидно, пока нет. Ну и в двух словах объяснить что там и как делать - увы, невозможно. Так что либо оставьте так, либо обратитесь в раздел платных услуг.
