Payment Extension Not Working Correctly After OpenCart Update

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with a payment extension on an OpenCart 2.x store. After updating the store and checking the checkout process, the payment method does not behave as expected.

The payment option appears to be enabled in the administration panel, but customers are unable to complete the payment process normally.

I have already checked the extension settings and configuration, but the issue still occurs.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem with payment extensions on OpenCart 2.x? I would appreciate any suggestions about what logs, settings, or files I should check to identify the cause.

Which payment extension are you using, and what exact OpenCart version is installed?

Where did you download or purchase the extension? Also, what did you update before the problem started - OpenCart files, the theme, PHP version, or the payment module itself?

Please describe what happens during checkout. Does the payment method disappear, show an error, fail to redirect, or return the customer to the checkout page?

 

Check and share any errors from:

• OpenCart error log
• PHP/server error log
• Browser console and Network tab
• Payment provider logs, if available

 

Without the module name, exact error, and details of what was changed, it is difficult to identify the cause.
