Bookmarks and instant navigation for the OpenCart admin panel

Every day your team opens the same screens over and over: today's orders, products without images, reviews awaiting approval, last month's report. And every time it's the same trip through the menu tree and the same filters typed in again.

Admin Quick Bookmarks puts an end to that. Any admin page — filtered lists included — is saved with a single click and reopened from anywhere in the panel: the header dropdown, the bookmarks bar under the header, or the command palette with Ctrl + K.

This isn't "another list of links." It's a thought-through workspace tool that saves your team dozens of clicks every single day.

What the module does

★ One-click bookmark. A star appears next to every page title. Click it — the page is bookmarked. The name is filled in automatically and reflects the active filters: "Orders (Status: Processing)".

⌘ Command palette (Ctrl + K). A single search box across the whole admin: your bookmarks, every page in the menu, and recently opened sections. Arrow keys to move, Enter to open. The page you need in two seconds, hands never leaving the keyboard.

● Live counters. The "Orders today" bookmark shows the number right in the menu — 9 new, without opening the page. Counters work for orders, products, customers, reviews, returns, categories and more, and they respect the bookmark's own filters.

▦ Bookmarks bar. A horizontal bar under the header, just like in a browser. Zero-click access to your bookmarks on every page. Each user enables it for themselves.

🗂 Folders and color labels. Group bookmarks into folders ("Daily", "Catalog", "Customers") and tag them with color. Reorder by drag-and-drop.

📅 Dynamic dates. A "today's orders" bookmark always points to the actual current day. The module automatically replaces concrete dates in filters with relative ones ({{today}}, {{yesterday}}, {{this_week}}, {{last_month}} and others) — the bookmark never goes stale.

👥 Shared bookmarks for the team. The top administrator can share a bookmark with everyone, or target specific user groups ("Managers", "Content team"). A ready-made workspace for the whole team — no need to explain where anything lives.

📝 Bookmark notes. Attach a text note to any bookmark — a reminder, a procedure, context. Shown on hover in the dropdown.

🕘 Recent and frequently visited. The module remembers where you go most often and offers to bookmark those pages. Plus quick access to the sections you opened last.

⚠ Broken-bookmark detection. If an extension is removed or a route changes, the bookmark is flagged right in the menu. No more landing on "Permission denied".

⌨ Keyboard shortcuts:

• Ctrl + K — command palette
• Alt + B — add/remove the current page
• Alt + D — open the bookmarks menu
• Alt + 1…9 — jump to a bookmark by number

⇄ Import and export. Move bookmarks between stores or keep a backup in a single JSON file. Folder structure is preserved.

Installation

Upload the archive under Extensions → Installer, then enable the module in Extensions → Modules. It works immediately — the defaults are already sensible. No code changes required.
