Smart Category Pro — OpenCart Category Management

The module adds a separate page for category management, where most operations are performed without opening the standard edit form. All core actions are available from a single interface: category tree management, quick edit, bulk operations, and promotions management.

Category Tree

• On the left — an interactive tree with all categories.

• Tree search, expand and collapse all levels. Selecting one or more categories filters the table on the right.

• Drag & Drop — drag a category to a new location, after which the new parent and sort order are saved automatically.

Actions directly from the tree

Available for the selected category:

• enable;

• disable;

• enable/disable along with all subcategories;

• clone;

• delete.

What can be edited directly in the table

Without opening the category page, you can change:

• image;

• name (for all languages);

• SEO URL;

• stores;

• sort order;

• status.

Images

Automatic image processing upon saving is configured via the ⚙️ button in the header. Available actions:

• rename file based on category transliteration;

• move image to folder: catalog/category/parent/subcategory/

• process all images with a single "Move all now" button.

Product Statistics

For each category, the following counts are displayed:

• discounted products;

• all products;

• active products;

• disabled products.

Bulk Promotions Management

Add or delete promotions for all products in selected categories at once. To create a promotion, simply select one or more categories and specify the required parameters. Promotion settings:

• discount in percentage or fixed amount;

• customer group or all groups at once;

• start and end dates;

• product price range (from / to);

• only active products;

• include products from subcategories;

• replace existing promotions or skip them.

Deleting promotions is done using the same parameters, allowing you to remove only the targeted promotions without affecting the rest.

Filters

Filtering is available by:

• name;

• image;

• status;

• nesting level.

The image filter checks for the physical presence of the file on the server, not just the database record.
