Read-only mode. Open the Excel-style catalog grid, try the filters, the AI generators, the attribute normalizer. Nothing you change gets saved.
In stock OpenCart every product change is a separate card, a separate tab, a separate form. You open a product, wait for it to load, change one field, save, go back to the list, and start all over again for the next one. On a catalog of 500 to 5000 products that eats whole days.
OcBox Super AI Product Editor turns the OpenCart admin into what a bulk editor was always meant to be: one screen, an Excel-style table, filters, selection, bulk actions, AI, change history with undo, an attribute normalizer, CSV import and export. All in one module, with no external services.
The whole idea is to make editing an OpenCart catalog genuinely painless. Далі: "a blank spot on the storefront" замість "a hole on the storefront", "in fill-the-gaps mode by default" замість "in top-up mode by default", "and the module simply changes nothing there" замість "honestly changes nothing" and to gather the best practices into one solution. You know the pain: 1500 products in the catalog, prices have to go up 10%, so you open card 1, wait, edit, save, go back, card 2, card 3, and by the end of the day you have done 200. Friday comes, you are worn out, and the job still is not finished. Or a new supplier feed lands: 500 products with no descriptions, no meta tags, messy attributes, and all of it has to be cleaned up before launch. Or you decide to add a Ukrainian version of the store, and again it is by hand, field by field. І далі: "Filled in Ukrainian, and AI translates into Russian and English (or whatever languages your store has)", "half Ukrainian, half Russian inside the same card"
OcBox Super AI Product Editor settles all of that once: an Excel-style table of the entire catalog, filters for any selection you like, inline editing right inside the cells, bulk operations across hundreds of products, a full AI toolkit (descriptions, meta tags, tags, translation, attribute normalization, Quality Score), an action history with undo, CSV exchange with Excel. We put into a single module what used to mean buying several separate solutions, and added the AI none of them had.
What you get, in detail
Here are the key features with a note on which real problem each one solves. This is not a marketing list, it is a working checklist of what you will be doing on day one.
New in version 1.14: four things that simply did not exist before
1. A permanent category tree on the left. The whole catalog structure is always within reach. Click a category and its products land in the table at once. There is a search box over the tree and a collapse button for when the table needs more space.
2. A "Catalog statistics" panel in the toolbar. Live numbers above the table: total products, enabled, disabled, out of stock, with no image, with no category, with no description. Click any number and that exact set of products is pulled up in the table, so the work ahead is clear without touching the filters.
3. Bulk price change got multiply, divide and rounding. On top of set, add, subtract, plus percent and minus percent you now have multiply by a number and divide by a number. Next to the action you pick rounding of the result: to a whole number or to a clean .99, .95, .90 or .50 ending.
4. New columns for custom fields are created right in the settings. A "Create new column" form: table (product or product description), name, and type (text, long text, integer, decimal). The column shows up in the custom fields list immediately, with no SQL and no database migration.
✓ An Excel-style table of every product with inline editing
The whole catalog opens as a table: rows are products, columns are fields. Click on price, quantity, model, SKU, status, manufacturer or main category and the field becomes editable right there in the cell. No opening the product card, no waiting for the form, no scrolling to the field you need and clicking back to the list. That is the end of the open, save, go back loop you repeat a hundred times a day.
⚠ Without it: you open 500 cards one at a time and burn 2 to 3 working days on what should take 30 minutes.
✓ A permanent category tree on the left (new in 1.14.3)
The full category structure of your store lives in the left panel at all times. Click a category and its products are pulled up in the table at once, with no detour to a separate page. A search box sits above the tree, so even in a store with a hundred categories and three nesting levels the one you want is a few letters away. The collapse button hides the panel when the table needs more space. Together with the hierarchical category filter that was already in the module, this is the most convenient way to walk the catalog the way it is actually laid out in your head and in the storefront menu, not as a flat list.
⚠ Without it: you jump to the stock category tree, come back to the product list, filter, and repeat for every category.
✓ A "Catalog statistics" panel in the toolbar (new in 1.14.0)
Right in the toolbar above the table you see live numbers for your store: total products, how many are enabled, how many are disabled, how many are out of stock, how many have no image, how many have no category, how many have no description. Click any of these numbers and the table shows exactly that set of products, so you can see the work ahead before you even open the filters. It is the same "Audit" the module always had, but no longer buried in a menu, always on screen instead.
⚠ Without it: you do not know how many cards are currently sitting without a photo or without a description, and you start the work blind.
✓ Filters across 20+ fields plus an advanced condition builder
Category (with subcategories or just the one you picked), manufacturer, status, stock, specials, discounts, an attribute and its value. On top of that there is a separate builder where you stack conditions line by line: field, operator, value, joined with AND or OR. Available fields include name, description, meta fields, tags, model, SKU, MPN, UPC, EAN, price, quantity, sort order, product ID, viewed count, dimensions, weight, status, main image, gallery, category, options, attribute, SEO URL and dates. There are no brackets in the builder, so the usual rule applies: AND binds tighter than OR. The search box is not primitive either: you choose which field to search in, and you can write "|" for OR, "!" to exclude, "%" as a wildcard, and for price, quantity and ID you can pass a range like 100-500 or a condition like "greater than 100".
⚠ Without it: you page through the catalog by hand and still cannot quickly pull up "everything with no description" or "everything switched off for the sale".
✓ Catalog audit: every broken card in one click
A dedicated "Audit" button with ready-made shortcuts under "Find products with issues": "No SEO URL", "No main image", "No gallery", "No description", "No meta title", "No meta description", "No category", "In 2+ categories (need to pick main)", "No manufacturer", "No attributes", "No options (variants)", "No dimensions" and "Without specific attribute…", where you choose which attribute to look for. Click an item and the catalog is filtered instantly, and every bulk action then works on that selection. Each new item replaces the previous condition rather than stacking on top of it.
⚠ Without it: after an import you know that 500 cards somewhere in the catalog are broken, but you have no idea which ones, so you cannot start working on them.
✓ The "Completeness" menu: broken images and translation state per language
Another set of quick filters. Two entries here are worth the most, and you will not find them anywhere in stock OpenCart. "Broken image (file missing)" shows cards where an image is recorded but the file is already gone from the server, which means a hole on the storefront. And "No translation" / "Has translation" appears as its own entry for every language in your store, so you get the exact list of half-translated cards before you pay for a single AI translation.
⚠ Without it: your customer is the first to see an empty grey square instead of a photo, and you run AI translation blindly across the whole catalog.
One honest detail: in "All filtered" mode the bulk actions respect the top-panel filters, the "Audit" shortcuts and the advanced builder, but they do not respect the item you picked in the "Completeness" menu. If you need to process exactly the products with no description, take that entry from "Audit" or tick the rows by hand.
✓ Bulk price changes: seven actions plus rounding (expanded in 1.14.0)
Select 500 products and change the price for the whole selection in one window. Seven actions are available: set to an exact number, add a flat amount, subtract a flat amount, raise by a percentage, lower by a percentage, multiply by a factor, divide by a number. The last two were added in 1.14.0 and are useful for rate-based repricing (multiply by 42.5) or converting from a supplier currency (divide by 36). Alongside the action you choose how the result is rounded: to a whole number, or to a clean .99, .95, .90 or .50 ending. No more going back through the catalog to turn 237.46 and 1049.12 into something presentable. The main price and the special price are handled separately with the same tools.
⚠ Without it: the dollar rate moves, the catalog needs repricing, and you are looking at 2 days of work instead of 5 minutes.
✓ Bulk categories, manufacturer, status, main category
Assign category Y to everything from manufacturer X, strip a category off a selection, switch 1000 products on or off in one click. There is bulk main category assignment too, the one your breadcrumbs depend on: it works on ocStore and on builds where the product to category link table carries a main category field. Stock OpenCart has no such field, and the module honestly changes nothing there. Do keep in mind that this particular action cannot be undone, because the previous main category is not kept.
⚠ Without it: restructuring the catalog means a week of clicking through cards.
✓ AI product description generation
Empty or weak description? AI writes a new one from the name, model, price, manufacturer and your own guidance. You can set the length (short, medium, long) and your own prompt to match the voice of your store. It runs in batches across the whole selection, hundreds of products in a single go. By default AI only writes where there is no description at all and simply skips cards that are already filled in.
⚠ Without it: a copywriter at $300 per 100 descriptions and a month of waiting, or empty cards that Google ignores.
The question everybody asks before the first run: "will it wipe the descriptions I already have?"
No. The bulk description window has three modes, and the safest one, "Fill empty only", is selected by default. In that mode AI writes only for products whose description is empty or shorter than the threshold you set yourself in "Minimum length of existing description (chars)", 50 by default. Products with a proper description are skipped before the module even calls the AI, so they cost you neither time nor tokens, and they show up in the summary under a separate "skipped" counter.
Overwriting only happens when you ask for it. "Replace all" rewrites the description for every selected product. "Expand existing" takes the current description and gives you back a longer version of it. The other generators behave the same way: meta tags, names and tags all skip fields that are already filled in until you tick "Overwrite existing".
A tip for the first run: take 20 products, look at what came out, and only then let it loose on the whole catalog.
✓ AI generation of meta title, meta description and meta keywords
Meta tags are written from the product name, model, price and manufacturer, with the language detected automatically. You can point the module at a field to use as a keyword hint and AI will take it into account. Runs in batches across hundreds of products.
⚠ Without it: products with no meta tags mean lost SEO traffic, and filling them in by hand means weeks of work.
✓ AI translation of names, descriptions, meta tags and attributes
Store running in 3 languages? Fill in one of them and AI translates into the rest (whichever languages your store has). It covers names, descriptions, meta title, meta description, meta keywords, SEO URL, tags and even attribute values. The H1 field is translated too if your theme adds it: stock OpenCart has no such field, so the module simply hides that entry.
⚠ Without it: a translator at $500 to $2000 for the catalog, or empty language versions and customers who leave.
✓ Attribute normalizer: a separate screen for cleaning up
Обрати один варіант і пройтись по всьому тексту. Оскільки catalog і normalizer вжиті десятками разів, логічніше американський: colour → color, behaviour → behavior, recognised → recognized, jewellery → jewelry, licence → license (у заголовку "Renewing the update license"), and to OpenCart those are four different values. The normalizer scores the state of your catalog, finds duplicate names, mismatched case, stray spaces, empty and suspiciously long values, folds the variants into one correct version and clears out attributes left hanging with no products at all. Finding similar names here is instant and free, it is plain string comparison rather than an AI call, so it does not eat into your API budget. AI comes in separately, when attribute names and values need translating into another language.
⚠ Without it: the storefront filter offers 20 colour variants instead of 5, the customer gets confused and buys from someone else.
✓ AI pulls attributes out of the description, in every language at once
AI reads the product description (which often already says "colour: black, material: leather, weight: 1.2 kg") and turns it into structured attributes, in every language of your store, in a single run. By default the module skips products that already have attributes and products whose description is very short. New attribute names are added to the store dictionary automatically and land in the first available group, so after a big run it is worth going through the Normalizer and folding similar names together.
⚠ Without it: you have 2000 products with the specs buried in description text, and storefront filters do nothing because the real attributes are empty.
✓ AI picks the main category for products that sit in several
A classic post-import mess: a product ends up in three categories, no main one is set, and the breadcrumbs on the storefront are blank. The module gathers every product like that into one list, and for each of them AI says which of its existing categories should be the main one, with a confidence percentage and a short explanation. From there you either apply them one by one or push through everything at 90% confidence and above. AI cannot suggest a category the product is not in, that is checked separately. Housekeeping categories such as "New arrivals" or "Sale" can be excluded in the settings.
⚠ Without it: hundreds of products with no main category, broken breadcrumbs and a messy path in Google.
✓ AI fills one specific attribute, and you see every value before it is written
Pick a single attribute, say "Power" or "Material". The module finds the products that are missing it, and AI extracts that exact attribute from each product description. Every value shows up in a table where you can correct it by hand, skip the row, or apply everything at 90% confidence and above. Products that already have this attribute never make it into the list, so there is no way to damage existing data with this button.
⚠ Without it: filtering by power or material does not work, because those values are sitting as plain text inside descriptions.
✓ AI fills in weight and dimensions
Select the products, hit "AI: fill weight and dimensions", and the module reads the name and description of each one and returns weight, length, width and height. Where the description states the numbers outright ("15×20×5 cm, 2 kg") it takes them exactly; where it does not but the product type is obvious it gives a cautious estimate; and where it cannot be sure it simply skips instead of inventing something. Units are converted into your store's kg and cm automatically. Before anything is written you get a preview table with checkboxes: untick the rows you do not like, apply the rest. There is also a manual bulk mode for the case where one box covers the whole batch.
⚠ Without it: the shipping calculator lies or refuses to work at all, and the customer abandons the cart. Typing weight and size in by hand for 2000 products is a week.
✓ Autopilot through CRON: heavy runs happen in the background while you sleep
You tick what should be processed in the background: attribute names, attribute values, product texts (name, description, meta, tags), categories, manufacturers, plus the weight and dimensions AI works out. Pick the source language and the target language, copy the ready command into your hosting scheduler, and the module walks the catalog in batches on its own, with no browser tab open. The normalizer screen shows a run log: when CRON ran, where the run came from, how many steps it made, which phase it is in, how long it took and how it ended, plus a separate error log you can export to a file. For catalogs of tens of thousands of products that will never finish in one sitting, this is the only way to actually see a translation through. Writing descriptions and meta tags from scratch stays in the interactive windows of the editor, that part is not moved into the background.
⚠ Without it: you sit with the laptop open half the day, afraid to close the tab while the module chews through the catalog.
✓ Bulk actions with guard rails and recovery after an interruption
In the manufacturer filter you select several manufacturers at once instead of picking them one at a time. In the attribute normalizer you tick several attributes and send them all to the trash in one move. Stamping an attribute onto a batch asks for confirmation before it writes, so a stray click will not quietly change hundreds of cards. And if a long operation gets cut off (you closed the tab, the connection dropped), the next time you come in a bar appears at the top saying "Interrupted bulk task" with the number of products left and a "Resume" button: the run picks up from exactly where it stopped, with exactly the same settings. The checkpoint lives for a day and works for the "Selected" mode. If some products did not update, the report lists them with a "Retry failed" button.
⚠ Without it: routine work drags on, and one stray click ruins 500 products without leaving a trace.
✓ Long AI instructions and saved templates, nothing trimmed
Your store-wide AI instruction has no length ceiling: write a full 5000 character brand guide if you want, the module will not cut it, and the settings field grows to fit your text. Saved instruction templates no longer shrink or vanish from the list. What you put in stays in, two clicks away in the dropdown.
⚠ Without it: AI writes into thin air with none of your store's voice, or remembers only the first 500 characters of your instruction.
✓ Translations come back whole, not half done
AI used to leave part of the sentences in the source language: half in one language, half in another, inside the same card. We rewrote the request to the model so that it returns a full translation for every field, and mixed cards became rare. To be straight with you: this is the behaviour of a live model rather than a hard check in the code, so a spot check after a big run does no harm.
✓ Four AI providers and your own API in one window
Keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Ollama for local models, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. The model is picked from a list with hints such as "best quality", "balanced" and "cheapest", with a "Test connection" button right next to it. Keys are never echoed back to the browser and do not get lost when you save the settings. We refresh the model list along with module versions, so new releases arrive with an update. There is one text provider for all text operations (descriptions, meta, names, tags, translation), and the image provider is chosen separately.
✓ CSV and XLSX import with partial update
You update exactly what you need, down to a single column. Upload a file with prices and only the price changes, everything else stays untouched: an empty cell means "leave it alone". To clear a field on purpose, put the keyword __CLEAR__ in the cell. The product_id column is required, without it the file is rejected. A row where that column exists but is empty or points to an ID that does not exist creates a new product. Manufacturers and categories that do not exist yet are created automatically, so watch the names in your file: one typo and you have an extra manufacturer. Re-importing the same file breaks nothing.
⚠ Without it: any CSV import either overwrites everything, chokes on duplicates, or breeds new ones.
An import is not covered by the undo button and does not go through the trash, so back up your database before a big file. Run 10 rows first and look at the result.
✓ A pinned checkbox column and a column set of your own
Select 50 products, scroll the table across to the "Attributes" column, and the checkboxes stay visible on the left. The "Columns" button switches any column on or off, headers can be dragged with the mouse, and widths are resized by pulling the edge. Your column layout is saved and comes back even in a different browser under the same admin account.
✓ Workspaces: one click switches the table to the job at hand
There are more than 30 columns in the table and you do not need all of them in front of you. The "Workspace" button switches between ready-made sets: "Content", "SEO", "Logistics", "Pricing / specials", "Attributes" and "Default (all columns)", which also resets your saved layout if you have tangled it up. Note that a ready workspace hides everything that is not on its list, including the "Action" column with the per-product context menu: bring it back through the "Columns" menu or the "Default (all columns)" workspace.
⚠ Without it: a wide table turns into porridge, and finding the column you want takes longer than making the edit.
✓ Filter presets, including ones shared with the whole team
Build a selection like "products from supplier X with no description", save it under a name, and from then on it opens in one click. When you save, the module asks whether the preset should be shared with all admins or stay private: your content manager opens their working list every morning instead of rebuilding filters from scratch. A preset stores the category, manufacturer, status, stock, specials, the search string and the "Completeness" entry; advanced builder conditions and sorting are kept separately and are not part of the preset.
⚠ Without it: every morning starts with setting up the same filters again, and a new hire has no idea which selection to begin from.
✓ Quality Score from 0 to 100 with a breakdown across four areas
The module scores a card by clear rules, with no AI spend involved: name, description, meta tags and attributes, each area with its own weight. Click the badge and you see the details, so not just "43" but what exactly is dragging it down: a thin description, a short meta description, fewer than five attributes, plus a list of recommendations. If AI is configured there is an "Improve with AI" button right there for that same card. The score is calculated on demand and stored, so after editing a card it is worth recalculating, otherwise the badge shows the old number.
⚠ Without it: you do not know which 200 cards out of 2000 are hurting conversion, and you do not know where to start.
✓ Drag and drop image manager
Drop files straight into the browser and they upload. Paste an image by URL and it is fetched onto the server automatically. Drag photos inside the gallery to reorder them. Set the main image in one click. All of it without leaving the page.
⚠ Without it: uploading a photo through the stock image manager is 4 clicks per image instead of one drag.
✓ Tiptap visual description editor
The description opens in a modern visual editor that works like Word: headings, lists, links, tables, images, formatting. No HTML to deal with. Pasting from Word keeps the formatting.
⚠ Without it: your content manager is scared of an HTML textarea, or wrecks the layout with stray tags.
✓ Multi Edit: several fields in one window
Instead of running a bulk "change price", then "change status", then "change quantity", you open Multi Edit and set everything in one window: status, price (equals, plus, minus, plus percent, minus percent), quantity, SKU, sort order, main category, weight and dimensions with their units, and your own custom fields. Only the fields you tick are changed. The manufacturer is changed by its own button on the bulk actions panel.
⚠ Without it: 3 or 4 separate bulk actions one after another, waiting for each, with a chance to slip at every step.
✓ Your own store fields with their own columns and full import/export
Your store needs a field that stock OpenCart does not have: supplier SKU, 1C code, country of manufacture, a video review link, a value for a price aggregator. The module handles those in full. Previously, to create a column in the database you had to write SQL and run a migration by hand. Now the module settings include a "Create new column" form (new in 1.14.1). Pick the table (product or product description), give it a name and a type (short text, long text, integer, decimal), click "Create", and the column appears in the custom fields list immediately, ready to use. From there your new field works everywhere: edited inline in the table, included in Multi Edit, exported to CSV and XLSX alongside the rest, and accepted back on import with partial updates. Text fields are translated by AI into every language of your store, numeric fields are handled by the bulk price and quantity actions.
⚠ Without it: the business needs a new "supplier code" column for a feed, and you commission a week of developer time instead of configuring it on an evening.
✓ Find and Replace across the catalog, with a preview you cannot skip
The brand name changed, an old phone number sits in a thousand descriptions, a supplier stuffed junk into your product names. Pick the field (name, model, SKU, SEO URL, meta tags, description, tags or a specific attribute), pick the language, and switch on case sensitivity or regular expressions if you need them. First comes a mandatory preview: the old value struck through, the new one in green, with the number of matches next to it. The "Replace All" button simply does not work until you have previewed. A replacement is not covered by the undo button, so for the description field look through the selection carefully.
⚠ Without it: one change to a brand name means a thousand cards opened by hand, or risky manual queries against the database.
✓ CSV and XLSX export with field selection
Export the catalog with the fields you want into CSV or XLSX, open it in Excel or Google Sheets, edit it, upload it back. XLSX is the better choice when the catalog is in Cyrillic: it opens without any encoding dance. Multilingual fields come out as a separate column per store language, and attributes can be added as a list of their own. Before an import runs, the module shows the first rows of the uploaded file so you can see whether the columns were recognised correctly. There is protection against formula injection (CSV injection). One thing worth knowing up front: descriptions are exported as plain text with no HTML markup, so formatted descriptions are better not sent through a file.
⚠ Without it: you make your edits in Excel and then pray that OpenCart will not break the catalog on import.
✓ Operation history with undo
Raised prices on the wrong group? Switched draft products live by accident? A bar appears at the top with an "Undo" button, and the panel has a full "Change History" with a counter you can roll back from as well (і відповідно "Test Connection" у картці про провайдерів AI). Undo covers cell edits, multilingual fields, SEO URLs, bulk changes of status, price, quantity, SKU, category, manufacturer and main category, plus saves from the "Descriptions" and "SEO" windows. The history depth (25 steps by default) is set in the settings. To be blunt about it: the history lives in the browser you are working in and clears after a day, so it is a quick Ctrl+Z rather than a backup on the server. For deleted products there is a separate and far more reliable safety net, the trash.
⚠ Without it: one wrong bulk operation means a database backup and hours of recovery, assuming a backup exists at all.
✓ Trash for deleted products, with a full snapshot of the card
Deleting through the editor does not wipe a product for good in one move. Before deletion the module takes a full copy of the card: descriptions in every language, attributes, options, images, categories, discounts, specials, SEO addresses. The "Trash" window shows what was deleted, when and by whom, with "Restore" and "Delete permanently" buttons next to each entry. Two honest details: a restored product gets a new ID, so old external links and feeds tied to the previous one will no longer point at it, and the trash does not clean itself, there is a "Purge older than 30 days" button for that.
⚠ Without it: one extra ticked row in a bulk delete means restoring from a database backup, if you even have one.
✓ Bulk specials and discounts, including the routine after launch
A seasonal sale on everything from one manufacturer in a single window: percentage, flat amount or new price, start and end dates, priority. And then the part that comes round every month and eats the most time: extend specials with new dates, change only the special price, recalculate specials by percentage or by amount, round special prices to 1, 5, 10, 50 or 100, copy specials to another customer group (wholesale, for instance) and clear out expired ones. Most modes work with the default customer group, and copying moves specials between groups.
⚠ Without it: launching Black Friday means an evening of clicking through cards instead of the evening with your family you had planned.
✓ Bulk options and variants
Clothing, footwear, sizes, colours. One window adds an option with a set of values to a whole selection of products, along with quantity, price surcharge, stock subtraction and the required flag. Four modes: add, update the settings of values that already exist (the safe one, it creates and deletes nothing), replace the values of this option, and remove the option entirely.
⚠ Without it: putting "Size: S, M, L, XL" on a category of 300 products means 300 cards opened by hand.
✓ Related products by rule
The module picks related products for you: from the same category by popularity, from the same manufacturer, within a price range give or take a percentage, or at random from the active ones. You say how many to add per product, and the link is created both ways. There is a "clear existing related before adding" checkbox, and that one deserves a moment of thought: manual links are not coming back after it.
⚠ Without it: the "customers also buy" block is either empty or filled at random, and your average order value stays exactly where it was.
✓ OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Ollama support in one module
You are not tied to a single provider. Want GPT-5, put in an OpenAI key. Want Claude 4.x, use Anthropic. Want Gemini 2.5 Flash, use Google. Want local models for privacy, use Ollama. Or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
⚠ Without it: one provider breaks or raises its prices and your module either stops or starts costing a fortune.
✓ Store type, writing style and your own instruction for AI
So that you do not have to invent prompts from nothing, the settings hold ready-made niche profiles: electronics, fashion, cosmetics, kids, automotive, spare parts, tools, construction, furniture, sport, pet supplies, groceries, jewellery, pharmacy, music, beekeeping, home and garden and more. Pick "Spare parts" and AI immediately writes in part numbers, compatibility and fitment sizes, with no prompt engineering experience on your side. Next to it you choose the style: expert, conversational, premium, technical, friendly or concise. And if that is not enough, there is your own mandatory instruction for the whole store: description structure, tone, banned words, required brand mentions. Niche and style are set once and apply to every text AI operation.
⚠ Without it: AI writes cookie-cutter "buy from us" descriptions that read as AI and push buyers away.
There is nothing quite like this for OpenCart. Neither stock table modules nor standalone AI helpers give you all of it in one interface. In a single module you get: a bulk editor, AI generation of descriptions and meta tags, AI translation into every language, an attribute normalizer, Quality Score from 0 to 100, history with undo, a drag and drop image manager, the Tiptap visual editor, CSV with a preview, multi-field editing, and OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Ollama in one interface. You cover every scenario with one solution instead of buying 3 or 4 modules and hoping they do not clash with each other.
What that means in plain words
If you run a store with a few hundred or a few thousand products and you need to clear up the mess quickly, update prices, do the SEO, translate into another language or just get the catalog in order, here is step by step what you are getting.
You open every product at once, like a spreadsheet
Instead of clicking through products one at a time you see the whole catalog as a table. Prices, stock, status, manufacturer, main category, SEO URL, model, SKU and even card quality, all on one screen. You scroll the table the way you scroll Excel and immediately spot what is empty, where a price looks odd, where a product has no photo.
You edit fields right in the cells, with no page hopping
Click a price and the field becomes editable, type the new amount, press Enter, saved. The same goes for quantity, model, SKU, manufacturer, main category and status. Manufacturer and category open as a searchable dropdown, so you do not have to remember the exact name. The description opens in a visual editor (Tiptap) with formatting, images and tables, just like Word.
You filter the catalog by dozens of conditions and work only with what you need
Looking for everything from manufacturer X in category Y with status disabled and a price under Z? A few clicks and you have the list. Now run a bulk action on it: raise prices 10%, switch them all on, assign a new category, add an attribute, translate the descriptions. The filter holds your selection, and the action then applies either to the ticked rows or to the whole filtered set.
Bulk operations, the main accelerator
Everything that used to be done by hand now runs in batches: bulk price change (percentage, flat amount, new price), quantity, status, assigning categories and manufacturers, adding attributes and filters, generating SEO URLs and meta tags from templates, creating specials and discounts, copying data between products, deletion, image work (upload, URL import, drag and drop sorting, main image). Multi Edit lets you change several fields at once for the whole selection in a single window.
AI does your content work for you
Press a button and AI writes product descriptions in your voice, generates meta title, meta description and meta keywords using the name, model, price and manufacturer, and translates names, descriptions, meta tags, SEO URLs, tags and attribute values between languages. The H1 field is picked up as well if your theme adds it. You set the description length, the store niche, the style and your own instruction. Every bulk AI generator runs in top-up mode by default: whatever is already written stays as it is until you switch overwriting on yourself. OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Ollama (local models) and any OpenAI-compatible API are supported, and the list of available models is refreshed along with module versions.
AI Photo Studio: generate and edit product photos straight from the card
You no longer need a separate module for neural network photos. Right from the product card you launch AI Photo Studio: "put it on a model", "swap the background", "remove the text", "place it in an interior", "wear it on a wrist", a dozen ready presets plus your own prompt. You see the original and the result side by side (before and after) and drop the better one into the product gallery in one click.
Bulk mode processes several products at once. Change the background on 50 products in one category with a single run instead of 50 manual ones. If you need to, you can run not only the main image but the whole gallery. Every result lands in a preview first: you mark which photo becomes the main one, which goes into the gallery, and simply do not apply the rest. The image provider (OpenAI or Google Gemini) is chosen separately from the text one, so you can pick whichever is cheaper or faster for your scenario.
Three practical details so there are no surprises. The product needs a main image, otherwise there is nothing to generate from. The result is always square, 1024 by 1024, so very elongated photos get recropped by the model. And unconfirmed previews live for an hour, while closing the window cancels the batch, so choose the variants you want straight away. Bulk processing is one per store: if two admins start it at the same time they will get in each other's way.
The "Duplicates" tab: find and clear duplicate products
After a few imports from different suppliers, duplicates start appearing: one item under two SKUs, two products sharing the same model, the same thing living on two cards. A dedicated "Duplicates" button groups them by name, by the first 200 characters of the description, by SKU or by model, with a language selector. Each group shows the ID, name, model, SKU, status and stock, and a button in the row opens the product card in a new tab so you can decide what stays and what goes. The comparison is by exact value match, so this is duplicate finding rather than "similar products". A search that used to take a day now takes minutes.
Manage minimum order quantity and stock status in bulk
Wholesale or bulky goods: set a minimum of 5 units across a whole category without opening a single card. The same for stock status: "In stock", "Out of stock", "Pre-order", "2-3 days", select 200 products, pick a status, done. Minimum quantity can also be edited right in the table with one click on the cell.
Images straight from the image manager
Uploading a photo from your disk every time is no longer compulsory. The product editor has a "Choose from server" button that opens the OpenCart image manager and lets you attach a photo that is already there. Handy when one image is reused across many products (a cover shot for every T-shirt of one brand, say, or a single size chart).
Smart merge for attributes and a trash with undo
Smart merge finds similar attribute names ("Color", "color", "Colour", "Color (UA)") and shows you candidate pairs with a match percentage. You choose which name survives and the module moves every product onto it. This is string comparison, instant and free, and it does not touch your API budget. Alongside it there is a search across the values of all attributes and a value merge: tick several variants, pick the right one, and the rest are renamed across every product at once.
A word of caution, honestly. Deleting an attribute in the attribute browser can be undone within five minutes while it sits in the trash, but the undo bar brings back the last deleted attribute only, so large deletions are better done in small batches. And merging attributes is not covered by the trash: if a product had both attributes, the value of the second one does not move across, it disappears. Back up your database before a big merge.
Quality Score shows which cards need work
The module scores every card from 0 to 100 by clear rules: name, description, meta tags and attributes, each area with its own weight. Click the badge and you get the breakdown across those four areas plus a list of recommendations, so you see not just a number but a concrete list of what to fix on that card. From there you fix it by hand or with the "Improve with AI" button right in the same window. The score is calculated on demand and stored, so after edits it is worth recalculating the card. Checking the catalog costs nothing in API money: the score itself is worked out locally.
Attribute normalizer: cleans up after an import
After imports from different suppliers your attributes get tangled: "Color", "color", "Color (UA)", "colour", and to OpenCart those are all different values. The normalizer finds duplicates and similar values, folds them into one correct version, and translates attribute names and values into every language of your store. It does in minutes what takes a week by hand.
CSV and XLSX for working in Excel
Export the catalog with the fields you choose into CSV or XLSX, open it in Excel or Google Sheets, edit it, upload it back. XLSX is more convenient when the catalog is in Cyrillic: it opens without any encoding hassle. Before an import you see the first rows of the file so you can check that the columns were recognised properly, and there is protection against formula injection. Remember about descriptions: they are exported as plain text with no HTML markup, so formatted descriptions are better edited inside the module rather than through a file.
Operation history with undo
Raised prices on the wrong group? One click on "Undo" and the last supported operation goes back to how it was: cell edits, multilingual fields, SEO URLs, bulk status, price, quantity, SKU, category, manufacturer and main category. The history lives in the browser for a day, it is a quick Ctrl+Z within reach rather than a backup on the server. For deleted products there is a separate and far more reliable safety net, the trash with a full snapshot of the card.
Specials and discounts in batches
Create a seasonal sale on everything from one manufacturer in a single window: percentage, flat amount or new price, start and end dates, priority. The same panel then handles the routine that comes round every month: extend specials, change only the special price, recalculate by percentage or by amount, round the prices, copy specials to another customer group and clear out expired ones. A sale is put together in 30 seconds instead of 3 hours.
SEO tools
The module can generate SEO URLs from product names, fill in meta title and meta description from templates, work with languages separately and overwrite existing values when you need it to.
Access rights for your team
The module honours the two standard OpenCart permissions, view and modify. Someone with view rights only opens the table, looks through the catalog and the trash, but cannot make bulk changes, import, delete, restore or get into the settings. That is exactly what you want when a hired content manager or a contractor works with your catalog. Two honest details: exporting the catalog to a file is available with view rights as well, and the interface buttons are not hidden, so a click will show a message about missing permissions.
Compatibility
- OpenCart 2.3 and 3.x, plus ocStore
- PHP 7.4+
- ionCube Loader required (version 14 or higher)
- works with any theme, the module lives in the admin
There is no working module file on the forum, this is a description page. Every build is compiled individually for your domain, so download access is granted after payment. Send a private message with your domain, your PHP version, your ionCube Loader version and your OpenCart version (2.3 or 3.x).
ionCube Loader, please note!
The module is encoded with ionCube Encoder 15. It needs ionCube Loader version 14 or higher. If your hosting has Loader 13.x or lower, the module will not start.
Renewing the update licence
One year of updates is already included in the price of the module. After that it is renewed at the same price each year to keep receiving new versions. If you do not renew, the module carries on working exactly as before, just without new versions. Customers who bought before renewals were introduced keep the terms as of their purchase date. Renewal does not cover repeat ionCube compilation, installation or personal consultations.
Module delivery policy
On business days during working hours the module file is handed over to the buyer within 24 hours of payment, usually in under an hour. On weekends and public holidays there may be delays, and the module will be sent at the start of the next business day. Thank you for your understanding.
